The Principal

Geoff Francis' career in the aluminum and glass industry began over 45 years ago with a Civil Engineering Diploma from the University of Salford, England, after which he worked in the R&D departments of British Aluminum Co, and Vickers Aircraft. Since attaining his M.Sc in Structural Engineering from the University of London, UK, and a D.I.C. from Imperial College, London, Mr. Francis has worked as a:

• Technical Director, F.E.E. Ltd., Manchester, England (1969-1971)
• Technical Officer, Government of Jamaica, Kingston, Jamaica (1972)
• Chief Engineer, Lord & Burnham Co. Ltd., St. Catherines, Ontario (1973-1974)
• Chief Structure Engineer, DAF Indal, Mississauga, Ontario (1975-1977).

He is currently president of Vision Engineering & Design Inc., a company he founded in 1977. He frequently gives lectures on glass and glazing, and has lectured at Harvard Design School, Texas Tech University, and at IGMA educational seminars
